About this Portal

Purpose

This portal digitizes the IEEE Kazakhstan Section Event Sponsorship Application Form (proforma) used for proposing Conferences, Symposia, Workshops, Seminars, Courses and Student Branch Activities for technical or financial co-sponsorship by the Section.

Who can use it

Any researcher, faculty member, or student leader proposing an event can register as an Applicant. The portal also serves the Section's officers — the Chair, Secretary, Webmaster, and System Administrator — who collectively manage the application lifecycle from submission to decision.

Roles in the system

Role	Responsibilities
Applicant	Creates and submits applications; uploads supporting documents; monitors decision status.
Secretary	Receives applications, performs the eligibility check, requests revisions, and forwards qualified applications to the Executive Committee.
Section Chair	Records the Executive Committee decision (Approved / Not Approved) and posts decision comments.
Webmaster	Maintains site content, contact details, branding, and the public-facing pages.
Administrator	Manages user accounts, role assignments, and system-level configuration.
